Smile makeovers &
full-mouth reconstruction.
Coordinated, multi-step cosmetic and restorative redesigns in Sarasota by Dr. Gabrielle Chevance, DMD. Veneers, crowns, implants, whitening, bonding, gum recontouring, and alignment — sequenced as a single plan, not as piecemeal procedures.
A smile makeover is the coordinated use of multiple cosmetic and restorative tools — color, shape, alignment, proportion — to redesign a smile as one composition. Sarasota Dental Arts plans every smile makeover digitally first, presents the design before any irreversible work, and sequences the visits so the result reads as a whole, not as a collection of steps.
What we combine,
case by case.
Whitening sets the target shade. Almost every makeover starts here, because future restorations have to be matched to the lightest stable color the natural teeth will hold.
Bonded composites reshape or repair specific teeth — chipped edges, slight gaps, worn incisal edges. The most conservative tool in the kit.
Veneers address color stains that whitening will not lift, shape changes, and alignment-by-design when an orthodontic case is not practical.
Gum recontouring adjusts the visible gum line where teeth look “short” — a small change that often has a disproportionate effect on the overall smile.
Alignment (Invisalign / clear aligners) where the underlying tooth positions need to change first. Sometimes orthodontics is the most conservative answer before any cosmetic work.
Crowns or implant crowns for teeth that need more than cosmetic coverage, or for replacing missing teeth.
Design first.
Then sequence.
- Design consult. 60 to 90 minutes. Photos, conversation, and a digital mockup of the proposed result. You leave with a clear plan and a written quote.
- Phase 1 — color. Whitening to set the target shade. Two to four weeks.
- Phase 2 — alignment, if needed. Aligners to move teeth into the positions the design needs. Months, not weeks.
- Phase 3 — shape. Bonding, veneers, gum recontouring, crowns — the work that gives the smile its final form. Done in sequenced visits to keep the result coherent through each step.
- Phase 4 — protect. A custom nightguard for any patient with a history of grinding. Ongoing hygiene to maintain the result.
Quoted by step,
phased to fit.
Because smile makeovers vary so widely, we quote the entire plan in writing at your consult, broken into the individual procedures. You can do the whole plan in sequence, or you can start with the most impactful phase and add later steps when they make sense for you.
We are out-of-network with all dental insurance carriers and itemize everything. CareCredit financing and in-office payment scheduling are available for qualified patients.

The questions we get most often. Call us if yours is not here.
A smile makeover is a coordinated plan that uses two or more cosmetic and restorative tools together — whitening, bonding, veneers, crowns, gum recontouring, sometimes orthodontic alignment — to redesign a smile as a single composition. The work is planned all at once, even if the visits stretch over months. The point is that every step supports every other step.
