Full-arch implants,
one definitive solution.

All-on-4 and full-arch implant restoration in Sarasota. A permanent, fixed set of teeth supported by four to six implants. Designed and restored by Dr. Gabrielle Chevance, DMD; surgical placement by our partner periodontist.

Take the candidacy quiz

All-on-4 is a full-arch implant technique that replaces every tooth in an upper or lower arch with a fixed bridge supported by four (or six, for added stability) strategically placed dental implants. It is the modern alternative to dentures, and for the right candidate, it is the most definitive solution in dentistry for an arch that is failing.

Who this is for

The patient
All-on-4 was made for.

Adults missing most or all the teeth in an arch. Adults facing imminent loss of the remaining teeth in an arch due to advanced periodontal disease, severe wear, or repeatedly failing restorations. Adults currently wearing a removable upper or lower denture who are tired of the way it slips, clicks, or comes out at night.

Most patients walk out of the surgical visit with a fixed temporary bridge in place that same day — they leave with teeth. Final fixed restoration follows three to four months later once the implants are integrated.

What All-on-4 is not: a starting point for someone with mostly healthy teeth. We do not recommend extracting healthy teeth to put in implants. Where individual teeth can be saved, we save them.

The arc

One surgical day.
Four to six months.

1. Consult and 3D imaging. A CBCT scan, a comprehensive exam, and a written plan with a written fee. We confirm bone volume, plan implant positions digitally, and discuss material choices.

2. Surgical day. Any remaining teeth in the arch are removed, four to six implants are placed, and a fixed temporary bridge is attached the same day. You leave with teeth.

3. Integration. The implants fuse with the bone over three to four months. You wear the temporary bridge through this period — it looks and works like a final bridge, with a softer-food diet during the early healing weeks.

4. Final restoration. Dr. Chevance takes the final impressions and works with the ceramicist to fabricate the final prosthesis. Material choice (acrylic-titanium vs monolithic zirconia) is made here based on case priorities and budget.

5. Maintenance. Twice-yearly hygiene visits, daily home care under the bridge, and a refurbishing schedule for the prosthesis (10 to 15 years for acrylic-titanium, longer for zirconia).

Questions, plainly

All-on-4,
explained.

The questions we get most often. If yours is not here, call us — full-arch cases are high-stakes and we encourage real conversation before you commit.

All-on-4 is a full-arch implant treatment that replaces all the teeth in an upper or lower arch using four strategically placed dental implants to support a fixed bridge of replacement teeth. The "4" refers to the number of implants. Variations exist (All-on-6, All-on-X) that use more implants for cases that benefit from added support.
