Porcelain veneers,
made to fit your face.
Custom porcelain veneers in Sarasota by Dr. Gabrielle Chevance, DMD. Adult-only, fee-for-service. We design each case around how your smile sits in your face, then bond it with materials built to last decades.
A porcelain veneer is a thin, custom shell of dental ceramic bonded to the front of a tooth to change its shape, color, length, or alignment. Sarasota Dental Arts designs veneers individually for each adult patient, with a focus on how the result sits in the face at rest, in conversation, and in a photograph. They are not a template, and we do not sell sets.
How we design
your case.
Consult. 60 to 90 minutes, no pressure. We look at your existing smile in photos and in conversation. We talk about what you want changed and what you want left alone. Dr. Chevance will tell you honestly whether veneers are the right tool for your goal, or whether bonding, whitening, or alignment is the better starting point.
Design. We work from clinical photographs and a digital mockup of your proposed smile. You see your case before we touch a tooth. We adjust length, shape, color, and the way the smile arcs across the face until it reads as yours, not as a brochure.
Preparation. Minimal where the case allows. We remove the layer of enamel the ceramic will replace, take final impressions, and seat provisionals so you leave with a working preview of your final smile. The provisionals are themselves a design tool: most patients live with theirs for two to three weeks and tell us what they would change.
Bond. Final veneers are fabricated by a single ceramicist we have worked with for years. The bond is the technical step that determines lifespan, and we treat it as such. Cured ceramic, properly bonded, is physically the strongest cosmetic restoration in dentistry.
A smile, considered.
- Materials. We work with contemporary dental ceramics. Material selection follows the case, not a marketing badge. Translucency, strength, and the way the ceramic catches light all factor in.
- Bite. Veneers protect the tooth beneath them only when they sit correctly in your bite. We confirm occlusion before, during, and after the bond, and we recommend a nightguard for patients with any history of grinding or clenching.
- Color. A natural smile is rarely one shade. Real teeth move from warmer at the cervical to cooler at the incisal edge, with subtle internal characterization. Sarasota Dental Arts does not ship monotone veneers, and we will tell you the same if you ask for an unnaturally bright case.
- Longevity. 15 to 20 years is realistic for well-made porcelain veneers on healthy underlying enamel, protected by a nightguard, in a patient with consistent home care.
Who veneers
are for.
Veneers are an excellent option for adults with healthy gums and enough sound enamel to bond to, who want to address the shape, color, alignment, or proportion of their smile. We see strong veneer cases for chipped front teeth, gaps that aligners cannot close, peg laterals, internally stained teeth that whitening will not lift, and full smile redesigns where ten years of bonding patches are starting to show.
Veneers are not the right tool when the underlying tooth is heavily filled or compromised (we recommend a crown), when the problem is bite-driven (we address the bite first), or when an aligner case would produce the result with less irreversible change.
Pediatric and adolescent patients are not candidates and are not seen at Sarasota Dental Arts. We treat adults only.
Honest about cost,
honest about claims.
Sarasota Dental Arts is a fee-for-service practice. We are out-of-network with all dental insurance carriers. We will gladly itemize your treatment plan so you can submit out-of-network claims and recover any cosmetic benefit your plan offers.
Single-tooth veneer fees fall in a per-tooth range that reflects the time, the ceramicist, and the material chosen for your case. Full smile redesigns are quoted in writing at the end of your consult. There are no rush prices, no package discounts that cut corners, and no in-house savings plans tied to upsells. The plan is the plan.
Financing through CareCredit and in-office payment scheduling are available for qualified patients. Ask at your consult, or call (941) 927-8287 and we will walk you through it.
Veneers,
explained.
The questions we get most often, answered without marketing language. If yours is not here, call us. We would rather have the conversation.
